"American Idol" begins its 14th season nationwide search for the best undiscovered talent in the country in Minneapolis on Wednesday, June 18. The search for the next singing superstar continues in New Orleans on Wednesday, June 25; Uniondale on Wednesday, July 23; Nashville on Wednesday, July 30; and San Francisco on Monday, Sept. 29.
Some of the biggest names in the music industry have started on the "Idol" stage and there now are more ways to audition. Once again, auditioners can submit online at www.americanidol.com (through Tuesday, July 1). Later this year, "American Idol XIV" will be headed out on the annual "American Idol Audition Bus Tour." Cities to be visited include Portland, Oregon; Portland, Maine; Reno, Nevada; Columbus, Ohio; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Amarillo, Texas; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Branson, Missouri; Tallahassee, Florida; Richmond, Virginia, and Kansas City, Missouri.
