C.J. Harris was eliminated; less than one month until the finale
Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, Alex Preston and Sam Woolf are the top five finalists on "American Idol XIII," and will work with guest mentor and Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Mraz Wednesday, April 30 (8 p.m.), on FOX. The Top Five will sing a song chosen for them by the viewers at home in the "America's Request"-themed performance show.

On Thursday, in an emotional send-off, C.J. Harris was eliminated on "American Idol XIII" after receiving the fewest votes. From Jasper, Ala., the 23-year-old sang "American Woman" and "Whatever It Is" on Wednesday night's performance show.
