Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue at Boulevard Mall Saturday

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will bring its adoptable dogs to the Boulevard Mall his Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Come meet Rusty, Hal, Sally and Joey at the HON table set up at the Sears court.

The public is invited to come and meet these beautiful animals and to find out more about the adoption process, animal care, and upcoming meetings and events.

Also, tickets will be available for HON's June 14 "Cruisin' At The Canal," fundraiser, presented by Blackwinds Pet Supplies and Lockport Outdoor Store. A $35 ticket includes a one-hour canal cruise provided by Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises, light dinner buffet (including roast beef on weck, Buffalo chicken wings, pizza, side dishes, coffee and dessert), entertainment courtesy of Caribbean Extravaganza Steel Drum Band, door prizes and auctions.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out about 165 animals. HON operates solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.
