The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, presents an evening with Boz Scaggs Monday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for "The Memphis Tour" are $67, $57, $47 and $37.

Scaggs and his band return to the UBCFA after a well-received performance last year. Scaggs will perform the best-known songs of his career as well as music from his latest album "Memphis."

In addition to his Grammy Award for Best R&B Song, "Lowdown," off 1976's multiplatinum "Silk Degrees," Scaggs has had an unprecedented career full of accolades and honors. He first achieved fame in the 1960s as a guitarist and occasional lead singer in the Steve Miller Band, and continues to work with contemporaries Donald Fagen and Michael McDonald in their project, The Dukes of September.
