On Monday at 12:39 p.m., the Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. was dispatched by the Niagara County Fire Control for a report of one-car rollover motor vehicle accident. A vehicle landed upright in the area of 4719 Saunders Settlement Road.
When the fire company arrived, personnel found the operator, Marcy K. Barnett, 44, of Kosciusko, Miss., was still in the vehicle. She said she lost consciousness for an unknown reason, causing her to drive off the side of the road.
After first responders evaluated her, Mercy Flight transported Barnett to ECMC for treatment of a possible head injury.
Also responding to the MVA was Cambria Engine 4-E3 and 4M-11, Cambria Fire Police (to close the road down), and Rural Metro Ambulance for mutual aid.
All units were cleared and the road was reopened at 1:46 p.m.
