Niagara University Players present an all-student-run production of 'The Shape of Things'

From Feb. 21-23, the Niagara University Players will present an entirely student-run production of "The Shape of Things" by Neil LaBute. The show will be staged on campus in the Leary Theatre within the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre, Clet Hall. 

Directed by senior NU theater performance major Kathleen Denecke, "The Shape of Things" is a thought-provoking piece that challenges deeply entrenched ideas about the price some people pay for love or for art. (The show contains adult subject matter and language). 

The production will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21; at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22; and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.

The board members of the Niagara University Players who are responsible for organizing this 
production include: design/technology major Stevie Lukaszewski, '15 (set design); general theater major Christina Secola, '14, (costume design); design/technology major Nathan Van Remmen, '15 (lighting design); and design/technology major Nick Seres, '15 (sound design).

Cast members of the production include the following theater performance majors: Bobby Hall '14, of Syracuse; Kathleen Macari '16, of Troy; Bradeen Walders '16, of Albion; and Dylan Zalikowski '17, of Springville. Stage manager of the production is design/technology major Marissa Allen '17, of Buffalo. Assistant stage manager is theater performance major Josephine Lazusky '15, of Cochranton, Pa.
