The NHL Stadium Series began on NBCSN on Saturday night among palm trees and 60-degree temperatures at Dodger Stadium, where the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 3-0. More than 50,000 fans filled Yankee Stadium to see the Rangers score six unanswered goals in a 7-3 win over the New Jersey Devils on NBC Sunday afternoon.

The "NHL Game of the Week" on NBC continues this Sunday at 12:30 p.m. when Alex Ovechkin (Team Russia) and the Washington Capitals host the Detroit Red Wings. Gord Miller and Joe Micheletti will have the call from Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
