Doodle Bugs! Children's Centers, a leading education-based child care provider, is celebrating 22 years of building a "Doodle community" of happy children, happy parents and happy children both inside and outside the centers. The company is recognizing the accomplishment with a birthday party for its mascot, Mr. Doodle Bug, at all centers on Jan. 22.

Over 22 years, the company has grown tremendously and now serves more than 3,000 families and employs more than 500 staff members. Doodle Bugs! Children's Centers has six centers in Buffalo and five in Rochester. A center recently opened in Pittsburgh, and a location is currently under construction in South Florida. Two of the 13 locations are franchised. Anthony Insinna and his sisters, Clarine Insinna and Anna Insinna Zavatti, established the company in 1992 in East Amherst.

"Our goal since the beginning has been to provide the highest quality care to families. We scrutinize every facet of the business to ensure we're exceeding our families' expectations. Doodle Bugs!' commitment to excellence is often what sets us apart from our competitors. The support we've received from families over the past 22 years has been overwhelmingly positive," said Anthony Insinna, president and CEO of Doodle Bugs! Children's Centers. "We're looking forward to another 22 years."

The company has been featured several times in Exchange Magazine's Top 50 List of Child Care Organizations in North America. Most recently, Buffalo Business First recognized the company in its 2014 "Most Admired Companies" list. Doodle Bugs! was noted for its growth, contributions to Western New York, innovation in the industry, and civic giveback.

"We were honored and thrilled to receive this recognition as one of the most admired companies in Western New York. This award is a testament to our 'doodle differences' and the talented, hard-working people we employ," Anthony Insinna said.

Doodle Bugs! Children's Centers provides education-based care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, including preschool/pre-K and summer camp programs. The BRAVO! Curriculum, which is professionally designed and exclusive to Doodle Bugs!, combines theme-related, developmentally appropriate classroom experiences, all-inclusive enrichment activities, and a series of center events.

Doodle Bugs! utilizes unique safety features, including the new SafePass system, which is a biometric access system allowing only authorized family members to enter the center by scanning their thumbprint. The center is also equipped with Finger-Safe door guards, an automated external defibrillator, and real-time, password-protected online viewing for families, via WatchMeGrow.com.
