Old Falls Street hosts 'Kids' Club' activities to complement Hard Rock's annual New Year's Eve Guitar Drop

Children's activities will be hosted inside The Conference & Event Center Dec. 31 

Old Falls Street, USA, the three-block thoroughfare connecting Niagara Falls State Park with the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in downtown Niagara Falls, is inviting families to ring in the New Year with a host of "Kids' Club" activities from 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 31 inside The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls. Old Falls Street's New Year's Eve "Kids' Club" will be held as a complement to the Hard Rock Café's annual Guitar Drop and concert featuring Living Colour, being held on Old Falls Street, USA, later that evening.

Admission for all "Kids' Club" guests (adults and children) is $5 per person. Please note that all children participating in "Kids' Club" activities inside The Conference & Event Center must be accompanyed by a legal guardian for the evening.

"We wanted to provide extra activities for families with young children on New Year's Eve, and for those who wanted a place to warm up from the outdoor elements," said Global Spectrum's Ryan Coate, general manager of Old Falls Street, USA, and The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls. "Our team is happy to present these family-friendly activities at a minimal charge and give a glimpse of the Old Falls Street 'Kids' Club' activities that will be featured on the street during the summer of 2014."

For the price of admission, guests will enjoy two extra-large bounce houses with attendants, Old Falls Street's array of "Backyard Board Games" (giant versions of popular family games), costumed characters, face-painters, a balloon artist, music and family-friendly movies played on a giant screen throughout the evening. In addition, novelty New Year's Eve items, food and beverages will be available for purchase inside The Conference & Event Center.

Guests will be welcomed into the building by way of the First Street entrance. They will have the ability to go outside to view the Hard Rock's opening acts and are encouraged to stay on Old Falls Street to view the main act, guitar drop and fireworks at midnight.
