The St. Francis Guild volunteer organization of Mount St. Mary's Hospital conducts numerous fundraising efforts with all proceeds used to benefit the hospital. Events include the Pink Elephant auction, chicken and rib barbecue, holiday bazaar, monthly raffles and lobby sales. In addition, Guild volunteers operate the gift shops at both Our Lady of Peace and the hospital.
The officers for 2014 recently presented a check in the amount of $55,000 to hospital President Judy Maness.
