Was it Lilian Fairchild in the Marchand Gallery with the mastodon femur? Or was it Chauncey Hamlin in the Vertebrate Hall with the microscope? The Buffalo Museum of Science will turn its galleries into a life-sized board game for its third annual "Get a Clue" happy hour event from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014.

Tickets include the murder-mystery game, a cash bar, and access to all of the museum's permanent exhibits and science studios. The event is for adults 21 and over only.

Similar to the popular "Clue" board game, teams of two to 10 people will work together to gather clues from witnesses.

Only 200 registration slots are available (100 players per game). Game times will be assigned upon arrival at the museum.

Tickets, available at www.sciencebuff.org or by calling 716-896-5200, ext. 359, are $20.

"Get a Clue" sold out in both 2012 and 2013.
