Concert aids Native American children

The third annual Native American Benefit Concert will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Lewiston Opera House, 732 Center St., Lewiston.

Admission will be a new, unwrapped toy or article of clothing for a child between the ages of birth and 17 years old. Donations go to homeless and indigent Native American children.

The concert will be hosted by Dr. Darryl Tonemah, author and winner of Native American Music awards. There will be performances by Tuscarora Brass and Tuscarora hymn singers, as well as picture with Santa and door prizes.

The event is sponsored by the Sacarissa Bell Lodge 307 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
