Buffalo Zoo: 'Zooper Saturday' featuring snow leopards and river otters

The Buffalo Zoo, 300 Parkside Ave., will hold a "Zooper Saturday" event this Saturday, Dec. 7, featuring snow leopards and river otters.

The zoo's two snow leopards, Annapurna and Dwaine, will enjoy animal enrichments while visitors enjoy keeper talks 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The river otters also enjoy the colder weather, so come visit them at the Otter Creek exhibit from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for enrichments and keeper talks.

A complete schedule of activities follows.

  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Face painting in TOPS EcoStation
  • 11 a.m. Snow leopard enrichment
  • Noon Snow leopard keeper Q-and-A
  • 1-2:45 p.m. Raffle entry in TOPS EcoStation
  • 1 p.m. River otter enrichment
  • 1:30 p.m. River otter keeper talk
  • 2 p.m. River otter enrichment
  • 2:30 p.m. River otter feeding and keeper talk
  • 2:45 p.m. Raffle winner announced in TOPS EcoStation
