Assemblyman John Ceretto has announced his office is collecting donations for the Heart, Love and Soul Food Pantry in Niagara Falls. Ceretto's office is collecting nonperishable food items as well as personal care items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, shampoo and tissues. The items collected will be given to families in need in Niagara Falls and the surrounding area.

People wishing to give items for the collection drive can drop off their donations at Ceretto's district office, 1700 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls.

"This holiday season, I encourage everyone to give thanks for their blessings by giving to those in need," Ceretto said. "Charity and caring for the less fortunate is a responsibility that we all share as a society. In partnership with Sister Beth and the Heart, Love and Soul Food Pantry, we are practicing the most important commandment - to love your neighbor as yourself. I hope that everyone will participate and make the holiday season brighter for families in need in the Niagara Falls area."

Other donation sites include the Town of Niagara Town Hall, 7105 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls; and the Village of Lewiston Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St. Anyone with questions can contact Ceretto's office at 716-282-6062 or by email at [email protected].
