The gift of giving ... the joy of receiving

Each year, Community Missions of Niagara Frontier Inc. matches around 140 of Niagara County's neediest families with local businesses, church groups, service organizations and community members. These sponsors "adopt" the family and provide gifts and food, making their holiday wishes comes true.

In addition to gifts and food, the agency also distributes a turkey to each family in the program.

Currently, CMI is looking for sponsors to help the needy in the local community. Donations of turkeys, hams or other non-perishable holiday food items are greatly appreciated. Contact Andrea Gray at 716-285-3403, ext. 2225, or [email protected] to sponsor a family today.

Since its founding in 1925, Community Missions has provided a unique blend of referral, crisis, community support, and residential services for youth and adults. In 2012, its crisis services programs served more than 70,000 meals, provided crisis housing to more than 600 individuals, and provided more than 9,000 nights of care to neglected or abused children and homeless adults.
