"A Night at the Theatre" to benefit the hungry and homeless of Niagara County

Community Missions of Niagara Frontier Inc. will hold a celebrity bartending event Tuesday, Nov. 19, at The Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls. The event runs from 5-9 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person and include a free drink, hors d'oeuvres and live music from the A-List Band. The evening will also consist of a live auction, basket auction and 50/50 raffle.

This year's bartenders include Ric Seiling, a Buffalo Sabres alum; Keith Radford of WKBW News Channel 7; Brian Costello of Diversified Manufacturing Inc.; Christina Pecoraro of Mark Cerrone Inc.; Rick Crogan of the Niagara Falls Music & Art Festival; John Chella, retired NFPD chief; Col. John Higgins, USAF ANG 107; CCM Dave Wohleben, 107th Air Wing; Tasha Villani of First Niagara and LYNC; local artist Otis "Blaqlion" Arterberry; Seth Piccirillo, Niagara Falls director of community development; and Donald McGuire, Lt. Col., NYANG.

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the agency's crisis services programs, which include the community kitchen, clothing closet, food pantry and homeless shelter. This signature event will assist in continuing to provide food and shelter to the neediest neighbors of Niagara County at a time where demand is on the rise due to the temperatures dropping and winter fast approaching.

In addition to purchasing tickets, basket/prize donations and sponsorship opportunities are also available and appreciated. For more information on how to become a sponsor, donate, or purchase tickets, contact Andrea Gray at 716-285-3403, ext. 2225, or [email protected].

Since its founding in 1925, Community Missions has provided a unique blend of referral, crisis, community support and residential services for youth and adults. In 2012, the missions' crisis services programs served more than 70,000 meals, provided crisis housing to more than 600 individuals, and provided more than 9,000 nights of care to neglected or abused children and homeless adults.
