Wearable Art Fashion Show proceeds benefit Aquarium of Niagaraby jmaloni
The first-ever Wearable Art Fashion Show was held to benefit the Aquarium of Niagara. The creations of artists/designers from the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, as well as area retailers, were featured in the runway show at Wine on Third in Niagara Falls. Up to 20 models participated, each dressed in unique, wearable art fashions made from recyclable materials.
On hand at the Aquarium of Niagara to present a check in the amount of $1,300 were, from left: David Giusiana, owner of Wine on Third; Gay Molnar, representing the Aquarium of Niagara; Brook D'Angelo Wine on Third event coordinator; Michele Long Paterson, an Aquarium of Niagara employee; and Will Paterson, Michele's son.
