The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce will host a free "Lunch and Learn" energy workshop for small business and not-for-profit organizations on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls. The event is intended to help businesses learn about incentives to save money on energy bills and improve facilities and fleets.

The lunch event will feature opening remarks from Niagara USA Chamber President and CEO Deanna Alterio Brennen.

"We hope our local businesses take advantage of this educational session regarding resources and programs to upgrade their buildings and fleets and leverage state and utility programs to boost their projects' return on investment," she said.

Expert presentations will be made on programs from New York State Energy Research & Development Authority, National Fuel Gas and National Grid. These and other organizations will be on-hand to network, answer questions, and to assist in the first step for free small commercial and not-for-profit energy audit.

The meeting will also focus on available cash incentives and low-interest loans from NYSERDA to install the recommended measures, as well as other opportunities available from National Fuel Gas and National Grid. Incentives for vehicles that reduce gasoline and diesel fuel, such as compressed natural gas and electric vehicles, will also be presented by Clean Communities of Western New York.

All Niagara Falls and regional small business owners and not-for-profit organizations are encouraged to attend the workshop.

Pre-register for the workshop at www.RenewNiagaraCounty.org or call toll-free at 1-866-495-2959.
