Members of the Grand Island, Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara County and Fort Erie Rotary clubs got together on Oct. 30 for chili from Ms. Thank You at the Lewiston Moose Lodge, followed by a ghost walk by the Lewiston Council on the Arts' Marble Orchard Players from the Frontier House to the Lewiston Cemetery. They encountered not only the ghosts of long-gone McDonald's burgers, but the spirits of former visitors and residents providing spooky vignettes of long ago Lewiston.

Shown with some of the members of the Marble Orchard Players are Ronald Danielewicz, left, president-elect of the Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary, and Joe Philippone, right, president of the Grand Island Rotary.
