The Wheatfield Business Association will hold its third annual meat raffle Saturday, Nov. 9, at St. Johnsburg firehall, 7165 Ward Road in Wheatfield.
Admission is $10 and includes a slice of pizza, five chicken wings, beer, wine and pop. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the raffle beginning at 7 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Wheatfield Business Association's Scholarship fund. Over the past years the WBA has awarded numerous scholarships to many worthy high school seniors.
If you have been to a meat raffle you know the excitement and wonderful prizes available. If you have never witnessed a meat raffle you will totally enjoy the evening and the tasteful meat packages you may be lucky enough to take home, according to Danny Maerten, WBA secretary. The fresh choice meat selections include a variety of steaks, pork, beef, sausages, turkeys and chickens.
Entertainers Rob and Carol Allen of Wheatfield will be master of ceremonies.
Advance tickets are available from WBA members Sharon DiPasquale at 716-923-1466, ext. 307, and Maerten at 716-731-3696. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
