Local residents are invited to stop by the 3F Club, 904 Swann Road, Saturday, Nov. 9, starting at 4 p.m., where the Donovan-Hess benefit will be held to assist victims of a recent fire.
All money and donations collected will go to Matthew and Michelle, who lost their home in a devastating fire that took all their possessions as well as claiming the lives of their two beloved dogs, Bex and Isis. Unfortunately, the family was not covered, so moving on from this tragedy will see them starting from scratch.
Admission to attend the benefit is $20 per person, which includes food, soft drinks and bottled water. The event will also feature a basket raffle, door prizes, 50-50s every hour, a cash bar and entertainment by DJ Sookie, Dave Stayner and Toni Tripi with a special guest appearance by Billy Buffalo from the Buffalo Bills.
The event is kid-friendly and children ages 8 and under will be admitted at no charge.
Organizers noted that all donations are greatly appreciated, and checks can be made payable to: The Matthew Donovan Family Fire Assistance Trust through Bank of America.
