Approximately 2,000 tickets, priced at $25, will be made available and can be purchased online at http://www.lewistonhometour.com, and in person at all Wegmans locations; The Orange Cat (703 Center St., Lewiston); The Village Bake Shoppe (417 Center St., Lewiston); and DiCamillo Bakery (535 Center St.).
Each ticket opens the doors to:
•A showcase of Lewiston's most fabulous homes. Five Christmas cottages plus a "Main House" have been selected to be dressed for the season by Western New York's most creative designers. Each home will feature a tablescape or two, offering more innovative entertaining ideas.
•A special dessert sampling and cocktail reception (included in the ticket price) at the Barton Hill Hotel (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days), 100 Center St., featuring holiday pastries from two award-winning bakeries: The Village Bake Shoppe and DiCamillo Bakery. Everyone will also receive a signature poinsettia cocktail compliments of Supermarket Liquors and Wines and Wegmans (Niagara Falls).
Park your car and ride to the homes on the "Great Lakes Real Estate Polar Express." Trolleys will make a continuous circuit from Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St., to the featured homes.
Lewiston resident Chris Castellani of Supermarket Liquors and Wines has stepped up as the presenting sponsor for this year's event.
