George Edwards celebrates retirementby jmaloni
George Edwards, a popular local jeweler and community advocate, is retiring after 39 years in the jewelry business.
To mark this occasion, George Edwards Jewelers is hosting an unprecedented sale.
"We have been humbled by our customers' many years of loyalty and friendship, considering many of you part of our family," Edwards said. "Our mission has always been to offer the highest-quality fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and service our clients to the best of our ability.
"However, sometimes change is inevitable, and it is with great joy we have decided to retire and close the doors of George Edwards Jewelry forever. In celebration, we are having a huge sale to reflect our gratitude to our customers. As you are aware, we do not normally hold discounted sales. This will be your opportunity to receive unheard-of savings on a very comprehensive selection of fine jewelry.
"Please join us in making the best of the opportunity to start another chapter in our lives, and share the celebration."
For 17 years, Edwards' store has been located in Wheatfield. Stop in to 2131 Sawyer Drive and wish him luck as he begins his retirement.
