Kelly Clarkson, will.i.am reveal nominees for 5 key American Music Awards categories live on 'Good Morning America' Oct. 10

Global music powerhouses Kelly Clarkson and will.i.am will announce the 2013 American Music Awards nominations in five categories live on-air from ABC's "Good Morning America" on Thursday, Oct. 10, during the 8:30 a.m. hour. This marks the first time the nominations will be announced live from New York City. Immediately following "GMA," Clarkson and will.i.am will reveal the nominations in all categories at a press conference at B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill in New York.

2013 American Music Awards nominations will be presented in the genres of pop/rock, alternative rock, country, rap/hip-hop, soul/R&B, adult contemporary, contemporary inspirational, Latin and EDM as well as in categories for New Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.

The American Music Awards ceremony, produced by dick clark productions, will broadcast live from L.A. LIVE's Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24 (8 p.m.) on ABC.
