Lewiston-Porter senior wraps whirlwind summerby jmaloni
It was an unforgettable summer for Michelle Ball, a new senior at Lewiston-Porter High School. She appeared in the Johnny Depp film "The Lone Ranger," worked with renowned acting coaches and took a crown at last month's Ms. MWI International Elite beauty pageant. With her title, Ball plans to work with the "It Can Wait" campaign to call attention to the dangers of texting while driving - an important issue for motorists her age.
Last weekend, Ball participated in the 56th annual Niagara County Peach Festival. She rode in the parade inside a red convertible with her mother, Kelly Mac, and the car's owner, family friend Claire Gee. (photos courtesy of Craig Hosking)
