Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will celebrate the first anniversary of its River Road Primary Care Center with a free, outdoor health and wellness fair from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16.
The event will be held at Wellness Park, 624 River Road, North Tonawanda.
The fair will feature free health screenings and interactive health care displays, with physicians and pharmacists on hand to answer health care questions. Brown bag pharmaceutical safety reviews will be offered by Wellness Pharmacy. Those wanting to receive a review should bring all their prescription and over-the-counter medicines in their original containers.
Food vendor for the event will be Smoke on the Water BBQ, with the first 100 meals served free courtesy of the Memorial Medical Center Foundation. Music will be provided by Ultimate Event with DJ Scott Dirmeyer and the North Tonawanda Police Department will conduct child car seat safety checks.
Children will be entertained by the Fidelis Care Fidelisaurus and the Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary will have fashion jewelry for sale.
