"Winds, Waves and Wines XIV," the Aquarium of Niagara's fall fundraiser, takes place from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Conference and Event Center in Niagara Falls. This event will feature samplings of many of the regions' finest wine offerings coupled with hors d'oeuvres and desserts by selected local caterers and restaurants.
Drink, dine and dance to live music by the Rod Nickson Project and Premier Sound with DJ Pat Proctor.
Shop for bargains at the silent auction table. The auction will be even larger than in past years with everything from custom-made jewelry to original art work.
Aaron Mentkowski of WKBW Channel 7 is the celebrity host. The event celebrates the Aquarium of Niagara's 48 years of educational not-for-profit service.
Tickets are $55 each or $100 per couple and can be purchased by calling 716-285-3575, ext. 206, or at the door.
