Michelle A. Lewis, PharmD, MHA, BCACP, has been appointed director of pharmacy services at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Lewis is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where she earned a master's degree in health care administration, and the University at Buffalo, where she was awarded a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She has been a clinical pharmacist at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center since 2005.
A clinical assistant professor at the D'Youville College, Lewis was named Pharmacy Faculty Member of the Year for 2011-12. She is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and serves as pharmacist coordinator for Timmy Global Health, which sends D'Youville nursing and pharmacy students to Ecuador as members of medical service teams.
Lewis is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists and Niagara County Coalition of Agencies in Service to the Elderly (CASE).
