One of the most creative and sought-after prizes to be given away in Western New York this summer will be raffled off at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at the annual Roycroft Summer Arts & Crafts Festival. The popular festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 29-30 at Parkdale Elementary School, 141 Girard Ave., East Aurora.

Hand-crafted by Roycroft master artisans Jerry Smith and Ann Perry Smith, this year's "goodie box" is an attractive chocolate brown stoneware clay container. Making the goodie box even more special is the fact that it is filled with contents donated by other Roycroft renaissance artisans. The total value of the goodie box and its Roycroft contents is $6,600.

Tickets for the raffle will be available throughout the festival.

This year's Summer Arts & Crafts Festival, presented by the Roycrofters-at-Large Association, will feature talent from more than 80 juried artisans, including more than 40 Roycroft renaissance artisans. Many medias will be on display and available for purchase, including ceramics, fabric/fiber, wood, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, photography, metal, glass, drawings, leather, graphics and more.

The Roycrofters-at-Large Association is an association of juried artisans who create handcrafted work in many medias, and non-artisan friends who support RALA. For more information about the show or the association, call 716-655-7252, email [email protected] or visit www.ralaweb.com.
