Collins to participate in multi-employer job fair at Chase on June 28

Congressman Chris Collins announced today that 150 Chase Albion jobs will be retained in Western New York. It has been reported the Depew company AMS Servicing will take on the employees.

A hiring event will be held at the Chase Albion facility on Wednesday, June 26, and Friday, June 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Collins' office will welcome area employers who attend the June 28 multi-employer job fair at the Chase Albion facility.

"When I spoke to Chase about its decision last week, I told them I would work with them to find local jobs for its employees. Now, 150 of those jobs are already being saved in the Western New York area," Collins said. "I appreciate Chase's commitment to engaging on opportunities for its employees and keeping jobs in area. This is a good outcome for both the workers in Albion and the Western New York economy."

Collins' office has worked with local economic development officials to support commerce and industry, and create and retain jobs.

"We have more work to do to help the people of Orleans County, but this is a huge step in the right direction. I will continue to work with JP Morgan Chase and our partners in the private sector and at every level of government to help find jobs for each person affected," Collins said.
