Mary (O'Connor) Lynch, 74, of West River Road on Grand Island died May 29, 2013, in the comfort of her home.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 2, at the Kaiser Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. Stephen R.C. Church, and was followed by graveside services at Assumption Cemetery on Grand Island.
Born July 6, 1938, in Ogdensburg, NY, a daughter of William and Ruth O'Connor, she graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy high school in Watertown in 1955, and D'Youville College in Buffalo in 1959.
She married Daniel Lynch on June 10, 1967, at St. Patrick's Church, in Watertown. Mrs. Lynch worked for Union Carbide in Tonawanda, and she taught business administration in Chittenango.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Tom (Linda), Jim (Jennifer), and Dan; two sisters, Irene of East Amherst, and Kathleen (Douglas) of Sun City Center, Fla.; a brother, Thomas (Ellen) of Watertown; a sister-in-law, Marion of Felts Mills; five grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
