Lockport restaurant is third new Dunkin' Donuts to open in five-week span; new locations add up to more than 50 jobs for Buffalo-area residents
Dunkin' Donuts today continued its sustained growth and expansion in Western New York with the opening of a new restaurant in Lockport. The new restaurant, at 6405 Dysinger Road, marks the third new Dunkin' Donuts location to open in the greater Buffalo area over the span of five weeks under the ownership of long-time Dunkin' Donuts franchisee Timothy E. Cloe.
In addition to Lockport, Cloe recently opened a new Dunkin' Donuts inside a Kwik Fill gas station at 4909 South Park Ave., in Hamburg. The Hamburg opening coincided with the much-heralded arrival of a new Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in the lobby of Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Dunkin' Donuts now features 45 restaurants in the greater Buffalo area.
"We are excited to expand the Dunkin' Donuts footprint and spur job growth in Western New York while we bring the high-quality service, food and beverage that are the hallmark of Dunkin' Donuts to more residents throughout the greater Buffalo area," Cloe said. "Over the past few years, Dunkin' Donuts has become an integral part of the Buffalo community and we look forward to continuing to serve our valued guests."
The Lockport restaurant is approximately 2,400 square feet, seats 12 guests and employs 20 crew members. The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Hamburg restaurant is approximately 500 square feet and employs 15 crew members.
Both new Dunkin' Donuts locations feature a modern look that provides a fresh, friendly, vibrant and engaging environment for guests. Additionally, both restaurants have a drive-thru for faster service and offer high-quality menu items.
Since Cloe entered the greater Buffalo market in March 2011, Dunkin' Donuts has forged significant partnerships with a number of prominent community organizations, including Toys for Tots, Special Olympics New York, and the SPCA Serving Erie County. Dunkin' Donuts also participates in the "Thank-A-Vet" program in partnership with the Erie County Clerk's Office.
Dunkin' Donuts is also a committed partner to Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The two organizations recently announced a partnership through which Dunkin' Donuts franchisees will donate up to 1.85 million cups of coffee over the next five years to aid a $1 million fundraising effort for RPCI.
