The Niagara Wheatfield Teachers Association has announced its three scholarship winners for 2013:
Nicole Golias, far left, received the Clark-Foster Scholarship. She will be attending Cornell University to study Policy Analysis and Management.
Marissa Watroba and Cory Evans, middle and right, were awarded a NWTA scholarship. Watroba will attend Canisius College to study bioinformatics, while Evans will attend the Community College of Beaver County to become an air traffic controller.
All three students will be graduating from Niagara-Wheatfield High School this month and were recognized for excelling in academics, athletics and service to the community.
The NWTA has been awarding scholarships to area students for more than 25 years. Scholarships are funded through the generosity of Niagara-Wheatfield teachers and counselors.
