The second annual Oakwood University workshop "Shutterbugs" will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 15, at the historic Oakwood Cemetery, 763 Portage Road, Niagara Falls. The free workshop, "Photography as Art," features a short photo shoot on the grounds (18 acres) followed by a practical discussion. Free parking is available.
Oakwood University is a series of workshops created by the Friends of Oakwood to introduce the beauty and the historic value of this venerable cemetery to the public. More Oakwood University workshops will be held in the upcoming months.
"Shutterbugs" is for the beginner, as well as the experienced photographer.
With attendance of 20 persons, there will be a free drawing for a Canon digital, point and shoot camera bundle.
