Dunkin' Donuts is inviting Buffalo-area residents to get ready for summer with the return of "Iced Coffee Day." On Wednesday, May 22, $1 from every cup of iced coffee sold at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants throughout the greater Buffalo area will directly benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

"Dunkin' Donuts is thrilled to celebrate the return of Iced Coffee Day to the greater Buffalo area," said Dunkin' Donuts Field Marketing Manager Alisa LaPlante. "We could not think of a better way to welcome the warmer temperatures than a cool, refreshing Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee. I encourage residents of Buffalo to join us on Iced Coffee Day to support Roswell Park Cancer Institute. I am confident our loyal guests will be excited to raise funds for an organization that is so vital to our community."

Located in downtown Buffalo, the mission of RPCI is to understand, prevent and cure cancer. RPCI was one of the first cancer centers in the country to be named a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center and remains the only facility with this designation in upstate New York.

Dunkin' Donuts has been at the forefront in developing an innovative process for brewing iced coffee, which has set the standard for the industry. The unique process, called double brewing, uses twice the amount of coffee when making the beverage to achieve consistent flavor and freshness that are never compromised at the expense of serving it cold. The result is a smooth iced coffee that is never bitter or watered down.
