The following activity occurred Monday, April 29, to Sunday, May 5, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 99 response calls during this period.

Monday, April 29

•600 block of 20th Street, Niagara Falls, assist. LPD on location with Niagara Falls Police Department on a warrant execution.

•400 block of Roosevelt Avenue, stolen ATV. Statement taken from a male, 28, who reported the theft of a 2001 Honda ATV, color green, taken overnight. Report filed.

•300 block of South Seventh Street, check welfare. Maintenance reported a strong odor coming from an apartment. Male, 79, listed as occupant. Patrol cleared.

•1800 block of Ridge Road, possible shed fire. Patrol and Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location. No fire found.

•5300 block of Military Road, suspicious person complaint. Patrol reported subject left the area on a NFTA Metro bus. Patrol cleared.

•2800 block of Ridge Road, assist citizen. Male, 40, listed on call that involved a construction violation. Report filed.

•400 block of Center Street, dog bite complaint. Patrol spoke with both parties; dog bite reported. Situation addressed.

•800 block of Cayuga Street, possible fight at a restaurant. Patrol spoke with a male, 19, and the restaurant owner. Resolved by patrol.

•900 block of North Hewitt Drive, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a female, 78. Report filed.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, recovered handgun. Female, 59, listed as complainant. Handgun secured; report filed.

•4400 block of Creek Road, check welfare/mental health. Female, 49, voluntarily taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center by Rural Metro Ambulance.

Tuesday, April 30

•5700 block of Military Road, vehicle/traffic stop. LPD on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office for an unlawful possession of marijuana arrest. Vehicle secured.

•2400 block of Upper Mountain Road, check 911 call. All OK; building secure.

•Upper Mountain and Garlow roads, vehicle/traffic stop. LPD on location with NCSO for an unlawful possession of marijuana arrest. Vehicle secured.

•400 block of Center Street, suspicious person. All OK; subjects sent on their way.

•2300 block of Lower Mountain Road, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a male, 53, who reported his vehicle was damaged overnight and items taken. Report filed.

•Niagara University, AED/EMS assist, fire alarm. Smoke reported in unspecified building. Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. on location; no fire found.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, tractor-trailer accident. Patrol assisted State Police with accident, traffic and bridge control.

•1100 block of Jarrett Drive, open burn complaint. Patrol reported a small fire located on the 1100 block of Upper Mountain Road and spoke with the homeowner. Report filed.

•LPD office, walk-in complaint, harassment. Statement taken from a female, 50, concerning her daughter. Investigation to continue.

•900 block of Center Street, suspicious black males in a supermarket parking lot. Patrol located and reported individuals were selling items without a permit. Subjects sent on their way.

•700 block of Center Street, fraud complaint at a business. Statement taken from a male, 58; suspect unknown.

•5300 block of Chew Road, follow-up to an arson/vehicle fire on the 2200 block of Mount Hope Road. Investigation ongoing.

Wednesday, May 1

•Chew and Mount Hope roads, vehicle pursuit. Patrol assisted NCSO on a pursuit of a white Mustang. Vehicle GOA.

•South First Street, suspicious persons. All OK.

•300 block of Lockport Street, Youngstown, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for a juvenile problem.

•700 block of Mohawk Street, domestic. No further details.

•800 block of Center Street, vehicle check. Female, 26, arrested for third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating while the registration is suspended/revoked.

•North Fifth Street, hit-run accident. No further details.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, ATV complaint. Patrol spoke with youths involved and advised not to damage property.

•Bond Lake, two reports of suspicious vehicles. All OK first call, plate number logged. Second call vehicle left area.

•800 block of Center Street, disorderly conduct. Patrol reported a male, 29, had smashed a bottle on the ground, was disorderly with patrol and resisted arrest. Suspect placed under arrest.

Thursday, May 2

•2500 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious persons. Two males reported walking to a bus stop. All OK.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, mental health response. Male, 21, listed.

•800 block of Oneida Street, open burn complaint. Fire extinguished by resident.

•LPD office, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a male, 70, who reported an unknown person was opening a credit card with his information. Report filed.

•500 block of Irving Drive, suspicious vehicle. Plate and driver's information logged. All OK.

•Locations on Ridge and Porter Center roads and on Saunders Settlement and Walmore roads, separate reports of two car accidents. Statements taken from drivers; no report on second call.

•4500 block of Creek Road, counterfeit currency. Patrol secured a $20 bill.

Friday, May 3

•5700 block of Lewiston Road, agency assist. Patrol located a 1997 Honda Accord, color blue, with occupants possibly smoking marijuana by Power Authority docks. Vehicle and traffic tickets, unspecified, issued.

•500 block of Briarwood Lane, hit-run accident. Vehicle No. 1 parked, owner information logged; vehicle No. 2 left scene. Report filed.

•LPD office, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a female, 43. Investigation to continue. Report filed.

•NU campus, check situation. Patrol spoke with a female, 19, who reports having a problem with an ex-roommate.

•Joseph Davis State Park, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 21, arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•North Water Street, attempt to locate. Patrol reported an intoxicated female as GOA.

•500 block of Morgan Drive, disturbing the peace at a location on Greenfield Road. Handled by patrol.

•5800 block of North Kline Road, EMS response. Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on location for a 54-year-old male, intoxicated, unresponsive.

Saturday, May 4

•4000 block of Calkins Road, domestic. Patrol reported a boyfriend-girlfriend argument over property. Female, 47, listed. Report filed.

•Locations on the 700 block of Center Street and on the 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, separate two-vehicle accidents. Statements taken from drivers, both calls property damage only. Reports filed.

•Lewiston-Queenston bridge, arrest. Male, 22, arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Center and Eighth streets, Alcohol Beverage Control violation. Male, 24, arrested on an open container violation. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, juvenile problem. Handled by patrol; parents responded. Report filed.

Sunday, May 5

•700 block of Oneida Street, loud party. Patrol advised to keep noise down.

•Center Street, reckless driver, arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 48, for driving while intoxicated. Breath testing refused by driver. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $500/$1,000 assigned and driver remanded to Niagara County Jail. Report filed.

•Mohawk Street, mental health response. Male, 21, taken by Rural Metro Ambulance to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, domestic. Female, 25, listed as a victim and male, 24, listed as suspect. Male arrested on harassment charges. Jail/bail of $250 assigned and suspect remanded to custody of NCSO.

•300 block of South Seventh Street, larceny. Cell phone taken from an apartment. Report filed.

•Bond Lake Park, arrest. Male, 19, arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
