What:An open session meeting of the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council, which will include CFA status reports; a "Buffalo Billion" update; and presentations on the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority Cleaner Greener Communities Sustainability Plan for Western New York, Path Through History's heritage tourism marketing plan and New York State "Work for Success" Employment Initiative.
During the meeting, organizers will unveil a new marketing effort designed to attract additional development to Western New York.
Who:All individuals, businesses, organizations, labor representatives and university representatives from the Western New York Region are welcome to attend the public meeting and press conference.
Where:UB Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC), 875 Ellicott St., 5th floor, Buffalo
Parking is available in the garage across the street from the CTRC. If you park in the garage, please bring your parking stub with you to the meeting to be validated. On-street parking is limited due to construction activity, but is available on North Street.

The Western New York Regional Economic Development Council is co-chaired by University at Buffalo President Satish Tripathi and Larkin Development Group Managing Partner Howard Zemsky. The region is composed of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.
