The Niagara County Builders Association's annual Parade of Homes Show will kick off on Saturday, May 4. The event is free and open to the public. Five builders will present seven houses in the Niagara County and Grand Island areas over the course of three weekends.

This is the first time the Parade of Homes is being offered in the spring.

"We are following a nationwide trend toward presenting the open house show in the spring," said Kristin Savard, NCBA president and show chair. "Our builders are excited about this move, because this is the time of year when people are thinking about building new homes, and our builders are geared up to help them."

The show will run on Saturday and Sunday the weekends of May 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19, from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

Builders will be showcasing two homes each in the Grand Island, Lewiston and Wheatfield areas, and one in Pendleton.

Builders/locations include:

•Stickl Construction Co. Inc., County Club Cottages, 34 Cottagewood Lane, Grand Island;

•Ryan Homes, New England Estates, 125 Sturbridge Lane, Grand Island;

•Paul J. Game Construction Co. Inc., The Gardens at Oxbow, 405 Garden Lane, Lewiston;

•Rosal Homes, The Briars, 3776 Timberlink Road, Wheatfield;

•David Homes, Wheatfield Lakes, 6998 Mourning Drive, Wheatfield; and

•Ryan Homes, The Meadows at Pendleton, 4918 Cloverleaf Lane, Pendleton.

NCBA notes the Parade of Homes models offer the latest in home designs, new technologies and energy conservation, as well as decorating and landscaping ideas.

Visitors will be invited to enter a drawing for a tankless hot water heater and gas grill at this year's show.
