Charles I. Livingston, born April 28, 1926, entered into rest April 9, 2013. He is survived by his wife Annette (Sabella) Livingston, his daughter Cynthia (Nicholas) Petito, granddaughters Colleen, Victoria, Theresa and Christina, and a great-grandson Scott. He was brother of Joan Bidell Fred, Ronald Livingston and Jerry Livingston. He was predeceased by his son, Charles A. Livingston, and brother, Martin Livingston Jr.
Charles was proud of the time he spent serving his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He served on a P.T. boat in the South Pacific and was honorably discharged in January 1946. He lived and worked in New York City for many years before he retired and returned to the Western New York area.
His family respectfully requests that any memorial tributes be in the form of donations to the Wounded Warriors Project.org. Charles lived on Grand Island from 1938 until 1948. Memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Grand Island, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20.
