No contestant eliminated; "Idol" ladies have one more week to battle it out as votes from April 24 and May 1 will be combined to determine top three finalists
Thursday night on "American Idol," it was announced the final four contestants - Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Kree Harrison and Candice Glover - will all get another shot at performing for America next Wednesday, May 1 (8 p.m.), on FOX. Host Ryan Seacrest explained the show has an extra week built into its schedule to accommodate the "Judges' Save," which redeems one eliminated performer. Since the "Judges' Save" wasn't used this season, the show had an extra week to spare and, as such, all four singers were kept and will return next week.
America's votes from Wednesday's performance show will be combined with votes from next week's performance show, giving the four girls an extra week to wow the judges and the viewers at home, to land a coveted top three spot.
On the next live results show, Thursday, May 2 (8 p.m.), the final three remaining female powerhouses will be revealed. Plus, season seven winner David Cook will perform his new single, "Laying Me Low."
Also on last night's results show, season 10 finalist Stefano Langone performed his new single, "Yes To Love," and season nine winner Lee DeWyze performed his new single, "Silver Lining."
"American Idol" airs Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. on FOX.
