National talk radio host and Lockport native Stephanie Miller will deliver the keynote address at the Niagara County Community College commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, in the main gym on the Sanborn campus.

Miller, pictured, is a political commentator, comedian and host of "The Stephanie Miller Show," a progressive talk radio program produced in Los Angeles and syndicated nationally. In 2012, Talkers magazine ranked her the 11th most important radio talk show host in America.

"We are excited to have one of the leading voices in national talk radio addressing our graduates," commented NCCC President James P. Klyczek.

Miller is the daughter of the late U.S. Congressman William E. Miller, who was Barry Goldwater's running mate in the 1964 presidential election and chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Miller started her on-air radio career in Lockport at radio station WLVL in the early '80s.

In 1995, Miller became one of the few women to host her own late night television talk show, "The Stephanie Miller Show," syndicated by Buena Vista Television. In 1997, she began co-hosting the CNBC television show "Equal Time," as the liberal counterpoint to conservative Bay Buchanan. In 2000, the game show "I've Got a Secret" was revived on the Oxygen cable TV network with Miller as host. The following year, she began co-hosting Oxygen's weekday TV magazine show, "Pure Oxygen."

Miller's "Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour" is the fastest selling political comedy tour in America.
