Wild Kritters of Niagara County Inc., an organization that cares for injured and orphaned wildlife, hosts its seventh annual basket raffle Sunday, April 21, at the 3F Conservation Club, 904 Swann Road, Youngstown. The event will take place from noon until 5 p.m. It features food, a raffle with more than 100 baskets, and an assortment of educational wildlife, including owls, hawks and falcons. Master falconer Pete Lotz will be on hand with his "wonderful world of falconry."
Wild Kritters needs to raise funds to continue caring for injured and orphaned wildlife. Monies raised will help provide veterinary care, medications, formula, and even surgeries.
Wild Kritters rehabilitators have opened their homes to rehabilitate animals. Donations are used for animal care, and not for overhead. The group has state- and federally licensed rehabilitators. It is an all-volunteer organization.
