Reverse draw dinner will benefit Mount St. Mary's Hospital
The Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation will hold its third annual reverse draw fundraiser on Wednesday, May 1, at The Como Restaurant, 2220 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. The event is the continuation of an event that, for 34 years, was conducted by the Temple Beth Israel. In 2011, the leadership of the Temple bestowed the fundraiser to Mount St. Mary's.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with the program at 7 p.m. and dinner to follow. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the purchase of cardiac monitors to be located globally throughout Mount St. Mary's Hospital, a one-stop health care facility.
This year, Mount St. Mary's is honoring:
•Carol G. Houwaart-Diez, president of the United Way of Greater Niagara
•James Voutour, Niagara County Sheriff
•Peter Mio, Niagara Gazette publisher
Tickets are $50 each. Only 300 will be sold. For tickets and more information, call the Mount St. Mary's Foundation at 716-298-2143. Contributions to the Mount St. Mary's Foundation are tax-deductible.
