State Sen. Mark Grisanti was successful in fighting for increased school aid for school districts located in the 60th Senate District. The New York State Legislature passed its third consecutive on-time budget, which included an increase for every school district located in Grisanti's district.
"Our school districts provide invaluable services here in Western New York and across New York state, and they operate on a tight budget," he said. "We must provide the resources necessary to educate our children, keep them in school, and ultimately graduate prepared for college or the workforce. We were able to increase school aid across the 60th District, and this will help children receive the resources they need to succeed."
