The fifth annual Easter egg hunt at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center will take place on Saturday, March 30, from noon to 3 p.m. Last year, more than 300 children were in attendance.

The event is free and open to the public for children up to 10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration starts at noon.

The event will feature photos with the Easter Bunny. The Easter egg hunt will start at 1 p.m., and there will be many other activities, including face painting, craft stations, a basket raffle and prizes for children of all ages.

This year, the Easter activities will be held inside the NACC, not on the front lawn as in previous years, due to the early calendar date. The NACC is located at 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls (corner of Pine Avenue and Portage Road). Enter through the red door on Portage Road. There is plenty of free parking at the corner of Portage Road and Walnut Avenue in the South Junior High School parking lot.

The NACC is still looking for basket donations and volunteers for the event. For more information, contact Laurie Martelli at the NACC at 716-282-7530 or [email protected], or visit www.thenacc.org.

The NACC is a multi-arts center located in the former Niagara Falls High School building. The NACC, founded in 2001, was once slated for demolition, but is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is home to more than 70 artists, a ballet school, two theaters and recording studios.
