Youngstown Police Blotter for March 16, 2013

The following activity occurred Sunday, Jan. 27, to Sunday, Feb. 24, as reported by the Youngstown Police Department.

Sunday, Jan. 27

•Main Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 20, cited for speed in zone. Driver clocked at doing 40 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued for Porter Town Court. Report filed.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

•Falkner Park, juvenile problem. Patrol reported two males in the playground. Subjects removed from park and advised.

Friday, Feb. 1

•Village streets, vehicle/traffic stops. Patrol reported four traffic stops resulting in negative DWIs.

•Lockport Street, suspicious vehicle in parking lot. Patrol spoke with youths in a vehicle and advised to go home. Driver listed as a male, 18.

•3500 block of Dickersonville Road, assist. Patrol assisted Niagara County Sheriff's Office on a call of a vehicle in a ditch. Male, 50, reportedly fought with officers, was arrested and remanded to the Niagara County Jail. NCSO filed the report.

Saturday, Feb. 2

•Dickersonville Road, one vehicle accident. State Police filed the report.

•900 block of Swann Road, vehicle in ditch. YPD assisted Lewiston Police on search of a possible suspect. Unable to locate.

Sunday, Feb. 3

•Lower River Road, assist. YPD on location with NCSO on an attempt to locate of a black male reported as walking in and out of traffic. Negative results reported.

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 45, on the following: having an obstructive plate; unlicensed operation; driving while intoxicated; and refusal to submit to a breath test. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Porter Town Court and vehicle towed. Report filed.

Monday, Feb. 4

•400 block of River View Drive, fraud complaint. Female, 52, stated to patrol that her bank debit card was used in Canada. Woman advised to cancel her card. Report filed.

•500 block of Northfield Drive, possible larceny. Male, 64, reported a possible attempted theft of lottery tickets. Investigation to continue.

•Village streets, vehicle/traffic stops. Patrol reported three traffic stops resulting in negative DWIs.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

•Brookshire Road, juvenile problem. Female caller reported unknown juveniles in the area. Patrol spoke with the youths and advised them to leave.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

•River Road, vehicle/traffic stop-arrests. Patrol reported issuing a uniform traffic ticket to a male, 32, for having an obstructed view. Driver and two males, ages 30 and 26, arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. No further information.

Saturday, Feb. 9

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 55, for unlawful possession of marijuana. Driver also cited for failure to use the designated lane. Appearance and uniform traffic tickets issued for Porter Town Court.

Saturday, Feb. 10

•500 block of Lake Road, alarm response. All secure; call avoidable.

Monday, Feb. 11

•Main and Lockport streets, check welfare. Patrol reported a female driver was driving slowly and did not appear to be alert. Male passenger, listed as her husband advised patrol he would drive her home.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

•400 block of Main Street, domestic at a bar/restaurant. Female, 53, listed as the victim and male, 44, listed as a suspect. Patrol reported the female was punched in the face and had a bite mark on her neck; suspect fled. Medical treatment refused. Charges were pending for harassment, second, and obstructing governmental administration, second.

Thursday, Feb. 14

•Location not listed, arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of the male, 44, from the above domestic.

Friday, Feb. 15

•3500 block of Porter Center Road, assist. YPD on location with NCSO for a domestic. Male taken by patrol to a Lewiston residence; NCSO to complete Domestic Incident Report.

•Lower River Road, reckless driver. Drive-up complaint of a white Chevy truck heading north all over the road. Negative results on patrol's search.

•300 block of Carrollwood Drive, husband-wife domestic. Female, 34, listed as victim and male, 44, listed as a suspect. Female reports being harassed by means of pushing and shoving and reports being threatened with a baseball bat by the suspect. Suspect arrested on following: menacing, third, and aggravated harassment, second, physical. Suspect arraigned and released on own recognizance by Porter Town Court. Report filed.

Saturday, Feb. 16

•900 block of Lower River Road, diabetic problem. Female taken by Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co. EMS to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

•Main Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 57, cited for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at 47 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued for Porter Town Court. Report filed.

Friday, Feb. 22

•400 block of Dansworth Road, assist. YPD on location with YVFC on a call of burning wood. Call was cleared.

Saturday, Feb. 23

•Center Street, Lewiston, assist. YPD on location with Lewiston Police on a call of male, intoxicated, giving officers at hard time. Male taken into custody on disorderly conduct offense.

Sunday, Feb. 24

•2500 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, intoxicated parties. Unknown subjects departed function at Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. fire hall and left in unknown direction. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 29, arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation, third. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Porter Town Court; report filed.
