World renowned chef/restaurateur Jose Andres joins as guest mentor/judge
"Finale" - After seven weeks of intense competition and invaluable one-on-one mentoring from four of the world's most renowned culinary superstars - Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey - "The Taste's" four remaining contestants will face off to determine the series' first champion.
In the team challenge, the four outstanding contestants will also have to please the discriminating palate of world renowned chef/restaurateur Jose Andres, who will judge three dishes from each competitor. The lowest scoring spoons will be eliminated, and three will move on to the final round.
In the final round, the top three finalists will have two hours to prepare three of their most decadent creations in one last blind taste test for their mentors. The champion will receive the grand prize of $100,000, a new Ford C-Max Hybrid and the coveted "Taste" trophy, on the season one finale of "The Taste," Tuesday, March 12 (9 p.m.), on ABC.
