Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy holds 15th graduation for basic corrections course

On Feb. 13, the Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy awarded certificates of completion to the 14 men and women who comprised the 15th and most recent graduating class of the NCLEA's basic corrections course.

The event was held in Dunleavy Hall on the campus of Niagara University, headquarters of the county's only approved training program for law enforcement officers.

Niagara County Sheriff James R. Voutour served as the event's keynote speaker.

Co-directors Sgt. Jill Herrington and Corrections Officer Christian Granto presented diplomas to this year's graduates:

  • Valerie Marquart, Orleans County Sheriff's Office
  • Greg Martin, Orleans County Sheriff's Office
  • Kathleen Morgan, Niagara County Sheriff's Office
  • Jason Queal, Genesee County Sheriff's Office
  • Paulette Salvatore, Orleans County Sheriff's Office
  • Joseph Tardibuono, Niagara County Sheriff's Office
  • Matthew Vosler, Niagara County Sheriff's Office
  • Matthew Wingrove, Orleans County Sheriff's Office

Coordination of the NCLEA on NU's campus is carried out by the university's Office of Continuing Education and criminal justice department.
