Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center to hold free health screenings

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will offer a series of free health screenings during the next several weeks.

The first two events will take place in February, which is American Heart Month. All three will feature cardiac function, blood pressure, electrocardiogram (EKG), body mass index (BMI) and carbon monoxide screenings.

Screenings will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on the following dates:

•Saturday, Feb. 9, at The Heart Center of Niagara, 10th Street at Walnut Avenue, Niagara Falls.

•Saturday, Feb. 23, at Grand Island Family Practice, 1801 Grand Island Blvd., Suite 300, Grand Island.

•Saturday, March 9, at River Road Primary Care Center, 624 River Road, Suite 1, North Tonawanda.

Free health and wellness information also will be available and clinicians will be on hand to answer health-related questions. For information, call 716-278-4300 and select option 1.
