Illustrator Kristen Raimondi, author Suzanne Simon Dietz and publisher Amy Freiermuth recently created a children's book called "Johnnie's Adventures - The Search for Guinevere." The historical fiction work celebrates the history of the Town of Porter, its Village of Youngstown and hamlet of Ransomville.

Johnnie Diez grew up in Porter in the late 1800s. One day, while checking the feedlot, he discovers his pet pig is missing and treks around the town in search of Guinevere. This unique children's story includes additional information on each page of text for the adult reader. Icons and illustrations help the children follow the adventure on the map of Porter past.

The book's three creators will sign copies of "Johnnie's Adventures" from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Ashker's Coffee House, 400 Main St., Youngstown.
